Project Objectives:

The main objectives of my project 3 is that i want to send the message to people that we have to take attention to the greens. They are very important to us.Without them, we can't survive in this world. Besides, they are also one of the important factor to global warming. So, i hope with the poster i create, i can send the message to encourage the people to protect and care about the greens.

Approach:

- This time, i gona write some word on my drawing
- I will also try to use much more tools during complete my drawing
- I also try to make my poster simple but meaningful so that people can easily understand it
- I will put in text in my poster
- I will also add some effect on my poster
- I will use a dark environment to make people alert about the light and the leaf
- I will still using leaf as my main subject matter base on my assignment

The meaning of my poster

I choose a dark enviroment as my background to show give a place of unhappy and no hope. With that, i spotted a leaf with a light at the center of my poster as my main subject. I using birch leaf as the leaf because it bring the meaning if good future and hope. i choose to place a light to spotted the leaf and the light have two meaning. First, the light spotted the leaf so that people will alert of it and take a look at it. Second, the light also have the meaning of protect the leaf from the dark mean that care about it and protect it from bad things likes global warming or deforestation.

COMMENT :

Arr… thru this poster, I realize that a good poster is very hard to create. A good poster have to be simple but meaningful so that people can understand and know what are the poster are trying to say. I have try to create a simple poster as simple as I can so that people can know what I trying to show but meaningful.

STEPS

Below are the steps i working my poster...^^

Step 1 : I draw the leaf using pen tool.

Step 2 : the light is also drawing using the pen tool. Besides, i using a ellipse tool to draw the base of the light.

Step 3 : i draw the shadow by copy the leaf and resize it.i also make the shadow become dark.

Step 4 : Tada!!! I color the background with black and grey color. For the light, i painted it with yellow and orange color. I also using two types of green color and yellow to color my leaf.

After that, by using effect from effect gallery, i using distort - glass to make my light look more real. Besides, i also adding effects for the leaf and its shadow.

With that, i finished my poster.Finally...haha...

ASSIGNMENT 2

MY FINAL DRAWING

DRY TREE

After done with my 1st assignment, i continue with my 2nd assignment, lliustration.In my 2nd assignment, i still using the topic that i have choose when in my 1st assignment, deforestation as my small topic in global warming.

In assignment 2, i use tree as my main title and image.i decide to draw a dry tree to show that what global warming have done to our world.

Drawing process

Step 1 : Using pen tool, i have sketch a tree.

Step 2 : I also using pen tool to create a mountain.

Step 3 : I continue using pen tool to draw forest that behindthe tree.

Step 4 : Then, i using shape tool 2 draw a ellipse and color the background with yellow and blue represent sky and sea.besides, the sun also colored with red.

Step 5 : using sky blue color, i paint the mountain.

Step 6 : I continue painting the forest with three different layer and different light.

Step 7 : Then i color the tree with brown,yellow and black.beside i using the effect of colored pencil of artistic to let the tree looks more better.

ASSIGNMENT 1

Definition of Global Warming - An overall increase in world temperatures which may be caused by additional heat being trapped by greenhouse gases.

As we all know, nowadays our earth is suffering from the global warming and the situation is getting serious day by day.So, we have to stand up and protect our homeland destroy by our own hand.

Besides, there are many causes that make global warming happen and one of the most important cause is deforestation.With that i decide to use the topic of deforestation to create a symbol of global warming.

What kind of symbol that i want to create? I decide to create a symbol that can send a message to tell all the people to protect the forest and the earth.

Explanation

Hand - represent the meaning of care and protect.It mean that we should care about the forest and the earth and protect them being destroy.

Leaf - represent the character of forest and trees.Besides, i using a kind of leaf that call birch leaf and it have the meaning of good fortune and hope.So, we have to protect it from destroy so that it can bring good future to us.

Blue circle - represent a kind of barrier that defend and protect the leaf being destroy.Through it, it can explain that us, human have to take action to create a situation or ways to defend and protect the forest being destroy.

Yellow circle - represent an aura that coming out of the blue circle.The yellow circle having the meaning that a strong energy is releasing out to fight and prevent the blue circle being attack.So, we can say that after we think the ways, we have to take action to sucess it.

My Sketch Drawing

I start to sketch my drawing with the idea that i want to protect the trees and the forest.I having an idea with placing a leaf in a circle to show that the leaf is being protect.

Later, i try to draw a hand taking the circle.I want to show that human is care about it and try to protect it.

Lastly, this is final sketch of my drawing.Look like simple but meaningful.

Drawing using Adobe Illustratior cs2

I take the photo of my sketch and copy it to my computer.I using my sketch as the background by using the template.

Step 1

First of all, i use the shape tool to draw the two circle of my symbol.

Step 2

I start to draw the leaf. I choosing pen tool to draw the outline if compare with the pencil tool that i not really master it.

Step 3

In this stage, i using the pen tool to draw the outline of the hand.

step 4

this is the last step, painting. I use the mixturing consisting of Garden - Hot - Fruits and vegetable - Default RGB.I mixture the colour in mixture library and paint it into my symbol.


Colour

Yellow and Orange - warm colour that can represent energy

Blue - cool colour that represent the meaning of strong and important

Green - a colour that represent harmony and enviroment

Global warming means that the increase in the average measured temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-twentieth century, and its projected continuation.From that,we can know that there are many cause that making it happen.Through from it,we can find that deforestation is one of the main and important cause that causing global warming happen.

Deforestation mean that cutting down and removal of all or most of the trees in a forested area.Why deforestation can cause global warming happen?We know that trees provide oxygen to us and absorb the carbon dioxide.But,when deforestation happen,the amount of trees is decreasing but the population of human is increasing.So,there will be an unbalancing situation will happen.The percentage of carbon dioxide is high and the percentage of oxygen is going down.As we all know,carbon dioxide contain many heat and when the percentage of it increase with a lot,sure the heat will become a lot and our earth will become hot because from it.From it,global warming will happen and our earth is continue having high fewer because of it.So,we will ask,when the forest in our earth is gone,wat will happen?Maybe something very bad will happen.So,we have to protect it from happen with that we have to protect the forest.With that,i very interesting with this topic and very care for the forest and from that i decide to use the topic of deforestation as my small topic to create my symbol of global warming.

I start sketch my symbol with idea that i want to show that the forest or trees in our world is keep decreasing its amount.Beside that,i also want to show that when the forest is become less,our world start to become hot.
The thing that i put in for my symbol is earth and trees.Earth is the main of the topic of global warming because global warming is happen in it.For trees,it is the main thing in deforestation.because the number of it decreases,then the global warming will happen.

For my sketch,the center of the circle represent our earth and the two circle beside it is representing the heat that surrounding our earth.The two trees is moving out to the space like rocket is represent that our earth is start to out of trees because of deforestation.The colour that i choose :

earth : blue for the sea,green for the land that still have forest and brown for the land that the

forest have been destroy.

second round : yellow because the air just increase a little only.
